Last month, I went to two art events. One was Theo Jansen Exhibition, another was the parade by La Machine. Theo Jansen is an artist, who builds Air-powered large animal robots. He aim to make Keep-alive animals without any of his help at nature location. And his animals have some functions to gather the wind and walking by the power. I got the Transformable Ball, latest Hoberman designed toy. Hoberman Designs was formed by Chuck Hoberman at 1995. Today I went to watch the Coloured Tokyo Tower. The light was placed under the tower. and lighted up from ground. Last month, new national museum ( Kokuritsu-shin-bijutsu-kan) was opend at Roppongi. The archtect is Kisho Kurokawa. His thinking and talking is verly radical and unique, but you can understand his thinking when you stay at his archtecture. Today, I went to take a chicket sold the day of performance, But I couldn’t get It was sold out at early morning. The play was performed by The Ramens ( Ramen = Noodle ). They are stand up comedians. Their script is not a roughly but a very logically, well polished up, and they play it so rhythmically. They have wide appeal by their unique atmosphere and personality in Japan. Now they appear on Apple Macintosh CM Films. エターナル・サンシャインの映画公開と同時にCMコンテストも始まった。 映画が始まる前にこのCMコンテストのCMが流されているので そこでこのコンテストを知った人も多いかもしれない。 現在、エターナル・サンシャインに使用された 映像素材等をexciteの特設webpageで一般公開している。 それを使って誰でも自由に映画のCMをつくり、 応募してもらうというのがこのコンテストの内容だ。 http://www.excite.co.jp/cinema/special/eternalsunshine/cm.dcg 映画公開後にCMを募っても…という気もするが、スポンサーのadobeとしては、 クリエーターからの注目が高い監督、ミッシェル・ゴンドリー作品を通じて、 自社のツールを使った映像制作をおこなってもらうきっかけとしたいのだろう。 兎に角、映画の映像データをWebに公開して コンテストを開けるってこと自体がスゲーと思う。 しかも題材はハリウッド映画だ。

去年出張中、何人かに 「ヒグチさん観て帰りなよ」 「ヒグチさんは観た方がいいよ」 って立て続けに言われて観てきたのが 今週日本初公開の映画「エターナル・サンシャイン」だ。 この映画はジム・キャリーの出演や ケイト・ウィンスレット( Kate Winslet )のアカデミー賞主演女優賞ノミネート、 そして「マルコビッチの穴」の脚本家、チャーリーカウフマン( Charie Kaufman )が 脚本・脚本総指揮を行ってアカデミー賞を受賞したことで 日本でも（少しだけ）注目されている。 でもこの映画の本当の主役はやっぱり 監督・ミシェル・ゴンドリー( Michel Gondry )だ。 ミュージックビデオやCMの世界ではすでに大御所だが、 長編映画は「ヒューマン・ネイチャー」に続いて２作目となる。 この映画は主人公の中にある、元カノの記憶を消していくという物語だ。 新しい順に消していくので「メメント」のように時間をさかのぼっていく。 しかしさかのぼってるのは主人公の記憶だけなので、全体の時間軸は 普通に進行していくし、色々ハプニングがおこる。 この複雑な時間軸の上で、違う空間をスムースに１カットでつないでいく ゴンドリー独特の手法がこの物語をうまく演出している。 GAPのCMで、真っ白な背景でダンスする人がいつのまにか別の人になったり、 増えたり減ったりスケートをはじめたりと変化するヤツを 思い出せる人も多いと思う。 まったく別の人や空間をスムースにつないで、視聴者に意識させずに 変化させていく表現は彼独特の手法なんだ。 もちろん俳優陣もいいと思う。主人公やヒロインもよかったが、 白衣のバカ好きな人や、3バカ悪役フェチにもお勧めダ。(ソウカ?) ちなみにこの映画の公式Siteはあまり観ない方がいい。 だから観てない人はココ↓クリックしちゃダメ。 http://www.eternalsunshine.jp/ 特にストーリーのpageはこの映画を観る前に見ない方がヨイ。 わかりにくいストーリーなので、わかりやすくなるトコロまでの ストーリーを書いたのだと思うのだけど、書きすぎだ。 むしろこの映画は予備知識ナシで観るのがベストだゼ。 すこし不思議な恋愛映画を楽しみたければゼヒ観ろ! ここまで読んでくれたのなら、楽しめるコト間違いナシ。観ろ! ちなみにこの映画、CMコンテストをやるらしい。 15秒以内のCMを募集するらしい。 公開後にコンテストをやるなんてめずらしいケースだが これも映像作家からの支持の厚い、ミッシェル・ゴンドリーならではだろう。 応募期間は3/19（土）～4/30（土）。 ファンなら出すベシッ! 審査にはミッシェル・ゴンドリー本人も加わるるぅぅぅぅ! http://www.eternalsunshine.jp/html/contest.html オレはとりあえず19日公開と同時にダウンロードできるようになる( たぶん ) 映像素材をチェックしてから考えるゼ。別にファンってわけじゃないシー。 っていうか、えらそうに語ってみたけど実は、 オレが観たのは字幕ナシのガチ英語版だったので、 複雑なストーリーを本当に理解できてるのか自信ナシなのですガ。 なのでオレもまたあらためて観に行きます :-) ちなみに原題は “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”。なげーよ!
