This week, most of the japanese peoples take public holidays. and the week is called “Golden Week”. A Lot of the peoples come to Roppongi, I wanted to take their picture. I tryed to follow Naoki Honjo-san’s “miniature fictional world”. But he use special “tilt” lens, that’s for Professional Archtect Pictures and too expensive. I used LOMO SMENA 8M lens and holded it in front of my camera by my finger. And tilted down it. This is Hinoki-machi park at back side of Tokyo Midtown buldings. Here! Last Week, Tokyo Midtown was Opened. and 3 big project in roppongi was completed. ( Roppongi Hills, THE NATIONAL ART CENTER, and Midtown ) “Big Canopy”: big structure over the gate. Pool in the park ” Hinoki-cho park ” behind the buildings. In the past, there was a pond and we could fishing at there. but now there is not a living thing. when spring will come, frogs may come. Today I went to watch the Coloured Tokyo Tower. The light was placed under the tower. and lighted up from ground. Last month, new national museum ( Kokuritsu-shin-bijutsu-kan) was opend at Roppongi. The archtect is Kisho Kurokawa. His thinking and talking is verly radical and unique, but you can understand his thinking when you stay at his archtecture. I got broken LOMO SMENA 8M Camera and picked up the lenz. And I tryed to put it to my EOS SLR Camera.(focedly) that’s it! The contrast is narrow and the colour looks a little strange. Typically I said, Russian lenz have a considerable individual variability. But It may be the taste of LOMO camera. and edited by digital. Last saturday night, I went to concert performed by Kitsune Akimoto’s band “Hz” Kitsune-san was one of the first person to adjust his CG animation to the music just in tempo used Delux Paint and Light Wave on Amiga computer. And he became famous to create CG animation for “UgoUgoRuga” TV program. It was for kids but famous artists performed in the show, Pizzicato Five, JAMIROQUAI …etc. The band’s performace was the first in 7 years(!) and I enjoyed it. Today, I went to take a chicket sold the day of performance, But I couldn’t get It was sold out at early morning. The play was performed by The Ramens ( Ramen = Noodle ). They are stand up comedians. Their script is not a roughly but a very logically, well polished up, and they play it so rhythmically. They have wide appeal by their unique atmosphere and personality in Japan. Now they appear on Apple Macintosh CM Films. Velfarre Roppongi, one of the biggest Club space in Tokyo, was closed at last year end. Roppoingi is a Large Night Town area in Tokyo. After WWII, there was a big U.S. ARMY Base ( and their is small one yet.) and been built a lot of the country’s embassy in this area. Today, foreigners and Japanese come to Roppongi in night time to enjoy the night life yet, but not only night time. In day time, they are coming to Roppongi redevelopment area.
